British Bottlers’ Institute Awards

We’re very proud of the way our Poacher’s Choice ale looks (the colour palette and  label design, we like to think, complements the dark liquorice notes and a fruity damson aroma within... mmm, very arty), so earlier this year we entered it into the British Bottlers’ Institute Awards for design and packaging, which judges a product on everything from its shape, style, type of closure, label/sleeve type and design. 

Well, the good news is…. drum roll, please… we’ve just heard that we’ve won Silver. This isn’t the first time we’ve won an award from this esteemed body, as last year we scooped a diploma for The Wandering Woodwose in the ales above 7.5% abv category. The year before it was Silver for Hopping Hare with its fresh, modern-looking design. Which confirms what we already know: that our ales not only taste delicious but they look great too. A bit like the Badger!
