If Badger made hotels

Oh, we do like to be beside the seaside – and we really, really like to be on a sunny terrace quaffing an ice-cold Billy Stinger ale on a summer’s day beside the seaside.

Luckily, the Badger now has just the place do it:  Hall & Woodhouse’s newly refurbished boutique Beach House (formerly known as Westover Hall) in Milford on Sea, Hampshire - just 200 yards from the beach and with great views out over the Solent to the Isle of Wight and the Needles.

The Beach House was built in 1897 and still has lots of original features, from the restored oak-panelled interior and stained-glass windows to vintage furniture; it also has a really tasty seasonal menu, at the moment serving spring dishes such as 'Banger' & Mash, Tomato, Feta and Olive Salad and Lamb Kofte Burger, and award-winning Badger cask ales and lagers from around the world. And with 14 en-suite bedrooms – some with those spectacular sea views – and the New Forest just a stone’s throw away, the Badger can’t think of a nicer place to be now that summer’s here.
