A Fresh Start for the Halfway Inn

We are delighted to announce that the Halfway Inn is now one of our tenanted pubs.

We are pleased to announce that the Halfway Inn, Norden has moved from our managed estate to become one of our tenanted pubs. Ben and Anne Brown, the newly appointed Business partners have been working with Hall and Woodhouse for 26 years and have experience in both managed and tenanted businesses (known as Business Partnerships at Hall and Woodhouse). Hall and Woodhouse Business Partners are able to run their pub as an independent business, adding their own personality to the pub and giving it a real local character. Alongside this they benefit from all the support and expertise of the Brewery if they need it. Prior to taking over the Halfway Inn Ben and Anne ran the successful Hall and Woodhouse pub Grove Arms, Ludwell, and with their wealth of knowledge and experience we are sure that they will put their own stamp on this unique country pub.

Area Manager Ben Holden comments “when this house came up, we had to be sure that whoever would take this business on would carry the same values as our managed estate. The attention to detail and complete unconditional dedication to quality made Ben & Anne our people. They have shown the most amazing loyalty to all Hall and Woodhouse over their career, they are fantastic Badger ambassadors and I can’t wait to see what they have up their sleeve to push this pub to the limits of where it can go.”

The Halfway Inn, Norden is a charming traditional country pub full of character perfect for drinks, lunch or dinner. Make yourself comfortable in its cosy nooks and crannies and enjoy its secluded garden, large terrace and children’s play area.
