Hall & Woodhouse Managed Houses launched their new Autumn menus this week. The menus, designed by chefs and culinary experts, are carefully considered and designed over months in the development kitchen at the Brewery Head Office.
Smoked Haddock Chowder is the ultimate in comfort food, with a touch of curry oil and crunchy Wensleydale croutons. Shepherd's Pie is a family favourite that has been taken to a new level of luxury with a slowly cooked Confit Duck filling and our buttery mash on the top. Vegetarians and vegetable-lovers alike are bound to love our Shallot, Chestnut & Mushroom Pie with crisp puff pastry. Lighter dishes shouldn’t have to compromise on taste, as proven by the Cajun Salmon that zings with perfectly balanced flavours.
The popular Waffle Toffee Sundae is back and the new Fruity Apple & Plum Crumble will make your mouth water for pudding. It even comes as a Legendary Mini-Pud for a touch of naughtiness ! There’s also a Toffee Apple Crumble, which is sure to conjour up images of Bonfire Night, Hallowe'en and supper by the fire. Then again, for guests would prefer to imagine away the British chill and picture themselves somewhere a bit more tropical, the Mango & Lime Mousse with coconut macaroons would suit….
