The Village Sport’s ground was not able to house this event due to the weather that we have experienced over the last few weeks. Mud sliding was added to the sack race to embrace the remains the weather had left. There was also traditional egg and spoon races, skipping and much more.

“We were delighted to help the children of Groombridge Primary out, the Huntsman was a perfect location for their sports day, and everyone had a great time.” Emma Welch explains. The Huntsman is known for being a focal point of their local community, so much so, that they were a Regional Finalist in the 2012 Hall & Woodhouse awards for Best Community Public House.
