Mark Woodhouse Hosts Cheese and Ale Evening at the White Hart, Henfield

Mark Woodhouse hosts an extremely popular cheese and ale evening at the White Hart, Henfield 50 guests attended to match Hall and Woodhouse ales with English cheese.

The White Hart, Henfield recently held a cheese and ale evening which was hosted by Hall and Woodhouse Chairman Mark Woodhouse. The event was extremely popular and over 50 guests attended.

 

Mark gave an interesting and educational talk on partnering English cheeses with Hall and Woodhouse Ales. He accompanied the award winning ales such as Fursty Ferret, Billy Stinger, Golden Champion and Poachers Choice with an assortment of Cheddars, blues and bries all made in England.

Mark Woodhouse comments: “We have the best beers and cheeses in the world, and ales are more than a match for wine when it comes to partnering them together.”

Mark went on to explain that all the barley used to make the beer is British and that 90 percent of hops were grown in the UK.

White Hart Business Partner Gyles Culver commented, “The event was a great success, it was a thoroughly entertaining evening and everyone enjoyed Marks’ very informative talk. The sampling went down very well and it gave everyone the opportunity to try all the great beers Hall and Woodhouse have to offer.”
