Newly Refurbished Airfield Tavern Takes Off

The Airfield Tavern has a new Business Partner, a new name and has undergone a fantastic refurbishment.

Here at Hall and Woodhouse we pride ourselves on the beauty and the high standard of our Public Houses and the newly refurbished Airfield Tavern is no exception.

The Airfield Tavern, previously known as The Gatwick has had a fantastic new makeover and a lot more than just the name has changed. The pub has been transformed to look and feel like a trendy London boozer with luxurious furnishings, comfy arm chairs and an open fire place. The retro aviation theme has a presence throughout, from the statement propeller wall art to the pub ghost Ivor the Aviator.

The new menu provides traditional pub dishes with the occasional twist, serving all the pub classics as well as delicious treats such as mixed mezze boards and yummy light bites.

Despite all these changes the Airfield Tavern is keeping the local community at its heart. They will continue to run the popular Thursday night quiz Tony and his team are looking forward to getting involved with the local community with lots of fun charity events in the pipeline.

Foggy Dessillas, Hall & Woodhouse Area Manager, Comments “The new refurbished Airfield Tavern really does look fantastic and we hope the regulars love it as much as we do, with a new Business Partner Tony Field, (who also runs the extremely successful Strawberry Fields Tavern, Southampton) at the helm we are sure this popular Horley pub will go from strength to strength.”
