Pushed to their limits, the walkers made it to the final stop, the Ship Inn, for their well-earnt pint of Badger and back home in time for tea!

On Wednesday 13th May, Team members from Hall & Woodhouse walked 25 kilometres from the Lulworth Cove Inn to the Ship Inn, Weymouth for Macmillan Cancer Support, the company's chosen charity for the year. The many hills were a real challenge, and the sponsored walkers managed to raise an impressive £5,000 between them.

The party of walkers was made up of Team Members from the Crown Hotel, the Ship Inn, the Half Moon, the Wheatsheaf Inn and the Brewery, along with Managing Director, Anthony Woodhouse, Chairman, Mark Woodhouse, and other directors from the company.

Chairman, Mark Woodhouse said "Our organiser Debra Reed was determined that we walk 25 kilometres so we spent the first hour and a half going in the wrong direction! Swyre Head was a real killer, my legs felt they were made of lead however, the thought of a pint of Badger at the Smugglers spurred us on".
