On Thursday 13th October, 240 guests gathered at the Tank Museum in Bovington for the fourth annual Dorset Tourism Awards to celebrate successful tourism businesses across the county. With a total of 61 trophies presented, the Grove Arms were handed the Gold award for Dog Friendly Business of the Year.

Nominees were taken through a three stage judging process carried out by a panel of past winners, industry leaders and experts in their field. Not only has the Grove Arms excelled in this newly introduced category, they will now be fast tracked with to the South West Tourism Excellence Awards in February 2017.
