John and Flo from The Plough, Ifield, together with a team of volunteers have raised over £50,000 for local charities in the area since 2008.

The latest gift was presented a couple of weeks ago, during a modest ceremony held at The Plough Ifield to the community of £10,000 - £20,000 going to the Olive Tree, Cancer Support Unit Crawley and £10,000 to Chestnut Tree House, whose aim is to provide the care and support that families so desperately need, whether practical, physical or emotional after children develops a life-limiting illness.

John and Flo were awarded Best Charity Public House in 2011, at the Business Partnerships Gala Dinner and Awards for their hard work, and they are still going strong when it comes to giving back to the community. We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate them once again for their achievements and wish them luck in the future with raising money for charity.
