Two of Our Business Partners have been shortlisted for BII Licence of the Year 2013

Two Business Partners from Hall & Woodhouse have reached the semi finailst stage in the prestigious BII Licensee of the Year Award.

Every year the BII seeks to find the licensee whose approach to running their business is above and beyond the industry standard. They recognise these individuals with the Licensee of the Year award; one of the most sought after and prestigious accolades any publican could hope to win.

We are proud to announce that our Business Partners Richard and Denise Bell, from the Silent Woman in Wareham, and Simon and Sarah Bailey from the Kings Arms in Hampton Court have successfully reached the regional semifinalist stage in the competition. Both of these public houses have been judged to have exceptional knowledge of the licensee industry, as well as a strong team development policy, and excellent business acumen.

This is not the first time that either of these public houses have been recognized in light of their hard work and dedication. It was only last year when the team at the Silent Woman was commended at the annual Hall & Woodhouse Gala Awards for the Best Business Innovation for the work they have done to host weddings at the Silent Woman. Simon and Sarah were also recognised back when they first joined Business Partnerships, the team were voted the best newcomers at the Hall & Woodhouse Gala Awards in 2009.

The next round in this process will take place throughout the whole of March, with the winner finally being announced in May 2013 at the glamorous Grosvenor Hotel in London. We would like to wish both our Business Partners the best of luck in being crowned the best Licensee of the Year, and would like to wish them the best of luck going forward in 2013.
