Food, glorious food (and beer!)

We love a good food festival here at Badger (well, who doesn’t? All that great local produce and street food to sample and buy; people brought together in shared appreciation of food, glorious food and, if you’re lucky, some lively cookery demos and talks to bring out your inner Jamie).

One of our favourites is Milford on Sea Food Week where this year, on Friday 11 April, we’ll be holding a beer tasting and showing the good people of Hampshire and beyond what really good ale tastes like.

By the sounds of it Milford on Sea will be hopping, with everything from celebrity shows, a professional cookery theatre and educational talks to wine tastings and.. climb aboard everyone… a Great Dining Bus, not to mention lots of entertainment to keep the baby badgers happy.

As anyone who has ever visited Milford on Sea will know it’s a great part of the world, with a village green, quaint shops, traditional pubs, bistros, cafes and restaurants and, due to open at the end of April, its very own Hall & Woodhouse Beach House. With views over the Solent, it’s the perfect spot to stop awhile and sip a cheeky Fursty Ferret.

So by that reckoning there’s two good reasons to visit Milford in April, and luckily for you they both involve beer!
