Take a Look Around

You can read about our unique beers and history in brewing here, but hearing it from the horse’s mouth (also known as a Brewery Tour Guide) is even better. Especially as you get to taste the beer too — only metres from where it was brewed.

Wherever you’re enjoying a tasty Badger Beer, it’s always special. But there’s something really wonderful about having one at the home of Badger Beers – in the beautiful countryside county of Dorset.

As you explore both our Victorian maltings and our modern brewery, nestling by the River Stour, you’re surrounded by the rich aroma of brewing beer and we’ll explain the brewery’s inner-workings. You’ll hear the legendary stories and see, first-hand, the craft, expertise and love behind our characterful beers.

The Important Stuff

Children over 10 are welcome, but anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by…someone over 18.

We don’t want you falling over in the brewery (what would people think), so please wear sensible footwear (no open-toed shoes or heels).

The maximum group size for our Brewery Tour is 20.

Booking is recommended to secure a place and essential for large groups.

Please arrive at the Brewery Shop ten minutes prior to the Brewery Tour to sign in and receive your tickets.

The Brewery Tap and Brewery Shop are fully accessible. HOWEVER, some areas of the tour are not accessible to guests with mobility difficulties.

Brewery Tap

Delicious food – and we’ll never run out of characterful crafted beers.

Located in the maltings of our Victorian brewery, the Brewery Tap is steeped in history and is the perfect place to sample our characterful beers (or enjoy a fresh coffee and slice of cake if that is your preference).

You’ll also discover a great food menu featuring everything from breakfast, brunch and lighter meals to more hearty dishes — like our award-winning Steak & Ale pie (which is almost as legendary as the Tangle Foot beer we make it with).

View our menu here.

But the Brewery Tap isn’t just a great way to end your brewery tour. It’s also ideal for special occasions, a morning meeting, an after-work drink or even your Christmas party.

Our Brewery Hall is a state-of-the-art conference suite complete with TV and teleconferencing facilities. Additionally we have three meeting rooms. All are available to hire. Whether you’re a FTSE 100 company, a butcher, a baker, a candlestick maker or local charity – get in touch to find out more.
