Forum Lager Beach House Takeover Terms & Conditions
The promoter is: Hall & Woodhouse Ltd (company no.57696)whose registered office is at The Brewery, Blandford St Mary, Dorset, DT11 9LS.
The grand prize is a one-night stay at the Beach House, Milford on Sea, for one guest and up to 19 others with dinner (any starter, main & dessert per head), plus £50 drinks per head, bed and breakfast. The weekly prize is 12 bottles of Forum Lager.
The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of Hall & Woodhouse and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Entry is made by uploading a photo via the entry form at www.hall-woodhouse.co.uk/forum. All entrants must complete the mandatory contact details. Entries made after the closing date of 2nd October 2021 will not be considered.
By submitting a photo, you agree to Hall & Woodhouse using the photo for inclusion in, but not limited to, marketing purposes on digital and print medium. To opt out, please contact us via the website.
Each week the winning picture will be posted on the Forum Facebook page. The photo must be original and taken by you.
Only over 18s are to be featured in photographs. By submitting a photograph, you are confirming that everyone in the photo is aged over 18. We reserve the right to request the production of photo ID to prove age of winning entries.
Hall & Woodhouse encourage you to drink responsibly. Any photo taken for use in the competition is done so at your own risk. Please ensure the environment is safe and you do not put yourself in any danger as we will not be held liable.
You must have consent from people featured in the photograph that are recognisable.
Entries considered to promote irresponsible drinking or profanity will not be considered
Every week, one winner will be selected for entry at random into the grand prize draw. Each week’s draw closes at 11.59pm on Sunday that week.
The overall competition closes at 11.59pm on 2nd October 2021.
Winners will be selected at the judge’s discretion based on the content of the photograph.
The winner from each week will receive 12 bottles of Forum Lager. This will be delivered via Badger Direct. You will be contacted via email to obtain a UK mainland shipping address. The delivery will need to be signed for by an 18+ year old. We will attempt to contact you twice via this method. Addresses not sent by the 5th October 2021 to [email protected] will forfeit their prize.
There is no cash alternative.
The overall winner will be selected from the 12 weekly winners, at the judge’s discretion, based on the content of the photo. The winner will be contacted by the email address supplied upon the entry page on the 4th of October. You must respond by 8th October 2021 to claim the grand prize.
We will offer a choice of 3 Fridays in 2021 / 2022 for you to redeem the prize: (5th November, 22nd January or 5th February). The prize is dinner, drinks up to £50 per person, bed and breakfast at the Beach House in Milford on Sea for you and up to 19 friends / family. Guests can include persons under 18 when accompanying adults over 18. 10 en-suite double rooms are available. Room occupancy is not to be exceeded. All indoor spaces are non-smoking. Dietary requirements should be communicated in advance.
Once your booking is made for a date, it is non transferrable. We may ask you to submit dinner menu selections in advance.
In the event of Covid travel restrictions, we will work with you to find an alternative date.
In the event of you or any of your party presenting symptoms, or a positive Covid-19 test, please do not attend.
Should the winner need to cancel their date due them having Covid-19 symptoms / close-contact / a positive test, as much notice as possible must be provided. Hall & Woodhouse will endeavour to rebook for another date in the near future. Please note proof will be required, and this only applies to the winner and not their guests.
We reserve the right to admit entry or refuse service to anyone that is behaving inappropriately.
Guests will need to make their own travel arrangements to and from the venue.
There is an option for guests attending the prize evening to extend their stay at the Beach House, this should be arranged directly with the Beach House and is subject to availability
In the event of any breakages that are considered malicious, we will recover costs from the prize winner.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Hall & Woodhouse shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
Hall & Woodhouse also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
