Hall & Woodhouse hosts glittering awards ceremony to champion its Business Partners

April 2019

Hall & Woodhouse (H&W) held a night of celebration and recognition for its Business Partners (tenants) at a glittering awards ceremony, hosted at the Crown Hotel in Blandford on April 3rd.

The independent Dorset brewer hosts its Business Partnerships Awards annually as a way of giving back and saying thank you to its Business Partners and their team members for their hard work throughout the year. It is also an opportunity to showcase the success of H&W’s Business Partners by each pub having the chance to win one of eight coveted awards.

The Lamb Inn, Chichester, was named the Public House of the Year on the night and other houses won awards which championed the best food, business ideas and community support demonstrated across the whole estate, stretching from Hertfordshire to Devon and London to East Sussex.

The Greyhound in Blandford won the Charity Champion Award for the Business Partner’s long-term commitment to local charity, Teddy20, which supports children fighting cancer in the south.

Each award winner received £250 (£1000 for Public House of the Year) and two tickets for the award winners’ educational trip to Lisbon, which is sponsored by Heineken.

Chris Chapman, head of business partnerships at H&W, said: “Every year we look forward to the awards as it is a chance for all of our Business Partners to come together from across the country to celebrate a successful year of great hospitality, innovation and growth amongst our estate.

“Our estate continues to grow year-on-year and we are proud of the work that we do in collaboration with our Business Partners to provide them with the support they require to run their own business successfully.”

Hall & Woodhouse is a local independent family company that brews award-winning Badger ales and runs a collection of 180 beautiful pubs and inns across the south of England.
