The Anvil
17th century charm in Badger Beer territory
Located in the village of Pimperne in North Dorset, two miles northeast of Blandford Forum (aka the home of our Badger Beer) the Anvil Inn is the perfect example of a beautiful, thatched country pub with rooms.
As the name suggests, the Anvil Inn was once the home of the local blacksmith. The pub dates back to the 17th century and remains steeped in history. It now offers its guests a cosy environment in which to enjoy a modern, British menu rooted in traditional pub classics. With its nine newly refurbished bedrooms, several roaring log fires and comfortable bar and dining areas the Anvil Inn is the perfect home away from home.
