The Barley Mow Inn

The Barley Mow Inn

Long Lane, Colehill, Wimborne, Dorset, BH21 7AH

A charming 16th century Dorset country pub

Located on the outskirts of the charming and historic market town of Wimborne Minster, the Barley Mow Inn is a family-friendly pub that exudes character.

Its thatched roof, oak beams and three open fireplaces create a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere. It’s not a surprise then to learn that Evelyn Waugh chose to write his novel ‘Decline and Fall’ here, having met with his wife by the romantic firelight of one of the log fires.

The Barley Mow is not just known for the enchanting, countryside location or its classic country pub décor, it is also famous for its eclectic menu combining Asian speciality dishes and traditional English pub classics. With a little something for everyone, it’s the perfect pitstop for all.
