The Hen & Chicken is a vibrant pub, two miles north of Alton near Farnham. Originally built in the 17th century as a post-chaise house for stagecoaches on their way to London, the pub retains much of that charm and character today.

The inglenook fireplace, wooden beamed ceilings, panelled partitions and rustic décor create a warm and welcoming ambience. With its secluded beer garden it’s as popular a spot during the summer months as it is in the winter.
