Nestled in the beautiful Chiltern village of Penn Street near High Wycombe, The Hit or Miss is a traditional Buckinghamshire country pub thought to date back to the 17th century. The unusual name is born from a cricketing term, inspired by the pub’s own cricketing team who still play just opposite the pub, on Sunday afternoons in the summer.
