The Wight Mouse
A welcoming family-run inn with spectacular sea views
Situated in the south coast of the Isle of Wight, close to the well-known beaches of Blackgang Chine and Ventnor, the Wight Mouse Inn boasts stunning views across the English Channel. A short walk from Chale Bay, the pub is particularly popular with walkers and cyclists, and the large garden and outdoor play area make it an ideal pub for families.
This former coaching inn has an attractively rustic interior, with oak-beamed ceilings, flagstone floors and log fires — a delightful place to enjoy the fresh, seasonal dishes on the menu. Upstairs, the inn has guest bedrooms with sea or woodland views making the Wight Mouse the perfect base for exploring this wonderful stretch of coast.
